Hey Pete! Thanks for getting the forks done for me, and the directions you gave were spot on. I'm like "What in the hell, now I'm in Rhode Island?", but it all worked out in the end. ![]() |

Hey Pete!Winter St doesn't have a sign, nor does the street you turn onto Winter St from. Makes it difficult. |

Hey Pete! Not true. Winter street does have a sign. They just put it on the wrong side of the road. If I remember Ill get a photo of it. |

Hey Pete!Yeah, I missed Priviledge St. on the way by because it took me about 3 more side streets to realize they had all the signs on the other side of the road. The forks? No idea, just put the bike back together, and I'll be getting up at 6am to ride the bike out to Saxman to load it into his trailer. Hope I remembered to tighten all the bolts. |

Hey Pete!Wow, just took the bike probably 100 yards up the road real quick after putting it all back together. Not sure what it was, but boy does that thing really want to just fall over into a corner. ![]() I guess I'll get it all figured out tomorrow, I've got a nice hour ride through the Berkshires to get the feel for it before I hit Loudon wednesday. ![]() |

Hey Pete!Jeff lets not make it _actually_ fall over into a corner and/or hit loudon. I tried it, its not fun. |

Hey Pete!Quote:
![]() Rode it about 60 miles out to Jamies house this morning. At least it no longer wants to continue to fall over mid-corner. Its just a *tad* stiffer as well. The only real thing of note is that it seems like it takes a bit more effort to turn in, and if I'm off the gas at all in a corner, the front end feels like it weighs about 3,000lbs. Sound about right? Guess I'm gonna have to learn how to actually ride a bike now. ![]() |
