Suspension Advice

So heres a dilemma....

I own 2 R6's.....one for the track one for the street. My track bike is basically a 2004 (but built in 06), my road bike is a 2005.

I want to get the forks worked on for the track, however the street bike has inverted forks on it. I'm thinking about swapping the front ends, but that would also involve buying a bunch of stuff to put the normal forks on the road bike.

Is it worth all the extra effort to get the inverted forks reworked for the track? Or will the standard forks fixed up be just as good.

why do you need other parts... you have 2 bikes, 2 front ends... what parts do you need for the swap?

stock clipons for the standard forks, and the ring clamps for the woodcraft clipons for the inverted....thats about it really after thinking about it.

i'm just curious if its going to make enough of a difference between standard/inverted to bother with it

Valves and springs will do the trick on either set. I doubt you would notice a difference if you had the two setups side by side on the track. It's 90% rider 10% bike.

see thats kinda what i was thinking. i dunno if its worth it (esp at this level, not like i'm going on AMA or anything) to bother tearing apart both front ends and stuff.
