DRZ Shock

Hey Pete -

My apologies for this incredibly stupid question, but will a DRZ shock fit in a Kawasaki KDX? Some keyboard warrior on AdvRider told me it would because the KDX is basically a 2 stroke KLX, which shares a frame with the DRZ.

It might, Suzuki & Kawasaki shared some engineering and production on a few models. You will need to get shock length, Stroke, top and bottom mount dimensions and spring rates for both shocks and compare. Just because it fits does not mean it will work, the leverage ratios may be very different.
