set up for 200 but I'm a lightweight

I'm looking at a bike tonight that has suspension set up for a 200lb rider, however I'm a light weight and only weigh about 160. If I got this bike do I have to change out the suspension or is it just a matter of adjusting it?

I would venture to guess at your level of riding it wont matter. Meaning to say, im far heavier than what my bike was set up for and it was a nice ride on and off the track.

Plus gear you are most likely 180. (Ok maybe 170)

Just bounce on it a few times and twist some knobs and springs.

That is all Pete does and it works wonders.

That was Gary Abate's old bike We'll need to change the fork springs, but that is easy. Also it may be time to freshen up the suspension any way. The shock may need a lighter spring as well, I'll have to see what's on it. Did you get the bike?
