Suspension adjustment to cure wobble when rolling off throttle

Hey PK, etc... High-speed sweeper w/ throttle roll-off @ the end of the turn (i know not normal practice...just keeping straight-line speeds in check on the street). I'm not chopping the throttle, just rolling off after accel thru the turn. It seems to introduce gentle wobble at the front when I do this while on the TL. This is on the TL you worked on a little while back. I'm guessing weight transfer to the front changing rake/trail...

What can I do settings-wise to try to minimize the wobble? I would guess raise comp. damping in the front a bit? If so, increase rear to match? Anything else?

I think i also am weighting the bars a bit when i let off, so I think i have to try relaxing a bit too.

That's just one of the many beautiful characteristics of the TL...... Try more fork spring preload.

Re: Suspension adjustment to cure wobble when rolling off throttle

Thanks, I'll give it a try. With the .95 springs I have it backed pretty much all the way out to get 35mm rider sag (I think thats what its at...notes are at home). So lots of room to tighten it up. Have a magic # I should try?

I'll let ya know how it goes. Good luck tomorrow...I'll call ya Thurs about the FZ1.

Perfect!

I'm still working on scoring some R1 forks. People spending too much on those suckers right now. Got 1 more set I'm watching which ends in a couple days.
