    Accident on Storrow Drive

I was just stuck in traffic in my car for 20 min tonight at 9pm on Storrow Drive, Eastbound by the Harvard Stadium curve. When we finally started moving, I saw a red sports bike in pieces by the guard rail on the right. Firemen and Police were all over the place but I guess the Ambulance already left because there was no sign of an injured rider. Hope nobody got hurt but it did not look good. Hope it wasn't anybody from here.

I think that is the worst turn on Storrow, a friend of mine hit that same railing at the begining of this summer and he is still hurting form that one.

Boston does has it share of badly made roads roads....Just yesterday as I took an exit at Charlestown coming on Rt 1 to avoid the Tobin Bridge toll, My bike started jumping all over the place. The road was full of small bumps which hd been built into it...just lumps of asphalt......God knows how can those contractors get away by making such bad roads....At least make the road level.

    Re: Accident on Storrow Drive

I used to have every single bump, ripple, and manhole memorized on Storrow when I was ripping it frequently. Still know 80% of em...

Glad that homeboy is overall 'okay'.

    Re: Accident on Storrow Drive

aha ya same as alex, I know all the bumps and on what corners...that road sucks cuz I'd always end up flying down it which isn't the smartest with all the assbags floating around all the lanes and not knowing where they're going
