Bought at the end of the summer last year from Precision Triumph in Pawtucket, RI. She is a stock 2011 Triumph Speed Triple SE. The SE was released late in 2010, in limited numbers (rumor is that only 200 were released in the US), with some special trick bits and add-ons without changing to the updated 2011 S3 chassis, bodywork, etc, but it is still listed as a 2011 motorcycle, kind of confusing...
Again, this bike is totally stock, with one exception, I pulled the stupid stainless steel exhaust shields and replaced them with carbon fiber. The stainless shields got so damn hot, I found the carbon fiber was able to dissipate the heat very quickly, seemed to make more sense.
1055 miles
1st oil change done at around 300 miles, after a proper break-in.
Factory Brembo radial mounted brake calipers
Factory upgraded fork internals
Factory upgraded shock internals
Rear seat cowl
Flyscreen
Factory upgraded instrument cluster (very trick looking, and feature packed)
The only two tone paint job ever on a S3
Seriously, this bike is showroom condition, a 10 out of 10, plus a coat of wax and an oil change. If it wasn't for a money hungry ex-wife, two kids and a track habit I'd be keeping her. Comfy ergos, powerful engine, and a non-stop attention getter... $9000 for a basically brand new bike, located in Cranston, RI.
