Oh thats sweet...
I like your meat.
You are NICE!
How do you like the BDS? Looks like it produces nice results!
Low & slow! Looks really good.
I have smoked quite a bit of meat my self ( dirty )
we have a brinkman , and an endless supply of apple wood from my neighbors orchard .
this method below is not smoked , but we have tried it and it is absolutely fall off the bone goodness
its called coffee can chicken
Mmm, pig, the magical animal! That is killer stuff. All that's missing is the cornbread.
I've been cooking a fair amount of bbq lately. I do mine in the slow-cooker in the kitchen though. No smoker here. We did ribs last weekend and they turned out hellaciously good.
Lol. Beat me to it. That ain't pig.Originally Posted by Manny

Meats look good, but did you actually BUY a BDS smoker? You can build them for $50 or less, so I always wondered when I saw their website, who would pay $400 to $900 for a drum smoker?
For reference, my home made drum smoker:
Personally, I picked up a 55 gal drum off craigslist for $10 and burned it out, got a used, slightly rusty Weber charcoal grill for free to use for parts, had some scrap expanded steel hanging around for the basket, then spent another $10-15 on pipe nipples, caps, and a shut off to use as air inlets.
