    Tire Warmers 120/160

Looking for warmers, 120/160. If you have a bigger rear one, I may still be interested pending some research on the interwebs.

Regular sized warmers work fine on 160's.

How late are you going to be at the track on Sunday? I will be heading up at some point during the day.

I will either pony up the $20 and come early to watch the races or try to get there right at 5. I'm assuming they are single temp? Any issues with them?

Lol it's $10 to get in. And I can wait a bit extra if you want me to. Regardless I gotta pack and everything.

Single temp. They have a mark or two but work 100%. I still use them.

Pistorius, you don't see threads in the FS section?!? I had mine listed on here for a few days and then sold them on the ducati forum. They were mint condition!

They come and go all the time. I don't even really want to sell mine. Because an extra pair always comes in handy.

I have a set of 160's that I use for my motard. They're chicken hawks - would be willing to part with them for the right price, but the advice you got is correct that regular size warmers will work just fine. The main reason I have them is because I imagine the chain on my motard will tear up the fleece sidecurtains on my Woodcraft bakers.

In fact, as long as you don't have issues with chain / swingarm clearance (as motards almost always to), I'd go as far as to say warmers that are a little big are a plus. The heating element will cover the whole tire without having to be so precise about getting the warmer exactly centered. Might not sound like a big deal, but takes at least some concentration, esp on hot days when you're just coming off of an afternoon session. The one caveat being that I think the temp sensors would need to be on the tire, but I'd imagine that those are dead-center on the warmers.

I have some relatively new Woodcraft dual temp and older chicken hawk I'll be posting in my "getting out sale" later today.

Thanks, I got some this past weekend. Chris Dove is looking for 160s too, mention it to him.

Ah, Chris... shoulda tried my woodcrafts on for size. I may be selling them as well (dual temp, but switches are finicky... hot setting works beautifully though)

    Re: Tire Warmers 120/160

Pete - If they are 160, I'll take 'em. I'd prefer dual temp because I have rain rims for the motard. I'm sure Woodcraft will service them if need be.

I'll send you my # on the book.
