    Hello,
Happy user of the Woodcraft quick release sliders for the front axle. I called and asked if there was similar for the rear, and was told it was under development. Any more info such as ETA?

Currently under development. We do not have an ETA at this time, but will let everyone know when we have them!

That's awesome - are they under development for the heavyweight ducs too? I have an 1199 but from what I can tell the rear-axle stuff (TRS pins, etc) seems to be the same for 1098/1198/1199's but those hubs are a little bigger than the ones on the 848/899's.

Also guessing that to use those with warmers I'd have to get one of those paddock stands that lifts from the frame? You know... like the one I always make fun of xxaarraa for having?

Right now, we are working on a few other projects, but will be expanding the axle slider line considerably this winter. I will pass this info along to Eric and the team here, and let him know there's interest.

Re: Quick-release sliders for rear wheel (848)?

So, I've been looking at this and wanted to get a feel for exactly what the requests were for. I had a few opportunities to crash the 848/1098 series and luckily I only scratched up a swingarm once. The challenge is that all rear stands come in from the left side and that is the side that would need protection. I would hate to have to remove something every time I had to put the bike on the rear stand. We can easily make something that allows for quick puck removal, but all of our axle slider setups are configured so that the internal parts are installed permanently.

If you guys offered feedback as to what was important for you in this part, I can put some thought into it and let you know what I think is possible.

Scratched up? Not too sure an axle slider would have helped with that swingarm!

    Sorry to go off topic

Yeah - I knew that one was coming. There was one that I did scratch up in addition to the one that I exploded.....but I don't think axle sliders would have helped me in that particular instance.
