I'm already signed up and know of at least two people who are planning to come along. Both at the 28th rain-fest. One as a rider, and another volunteered as a corner worker and was in T10 all day (he'll be riding this time).

Oct 13 is a Monday.

Travel down on a Sunday, which is nice and quiet.

Head home Monday night... should miss all the rush hour traffic.

As for getting bikes down there... we may have an option for people that are stuck. We're still figuring out how many bikes we can fit and what the price will be, pickup points, etc.

thats a cool pic! ive never seen steamroller racing. how do they corner? i would assume there is a lot of understeer.

I predict the guy in 2nd place is gonna pull the understeer card out of his Mat Mladin Book of Excuses to explain why he completely missed the apex.

btw, the cornerworkers in the first two pics need to get the hell off the track. Don't they know the track is live?

I'll be riding Thunderbolt on Sept 8th... for FREE!!! Tucker Rocky is having a dealer-only track day there. All signed up and ready to go. I'll be sure to let everyone know how the track and facilities are...


I'll also be in for Tony's event on Oct. 13th!!!

But I'll be leaving promptly after my last session to go do another two track days a little further south... That's gonna be a busy, expensive week...
