I may be picking up another trackday date... May 28th.

I will know for sure in a day or so.

The question is... how many people here would sign up for a no frills, $150 trackday on May 28th?

I am thinking we would limit it to 60 riders.
We would have two groups and rotate every 30 minutes.

There would be no food, gatorade or organized instruction. (You can bring your own drinks and sandwiches, etc... or the restaurant will probably be open, but not certain yet)

This is NOT for beginner trackday riders. You would need to be an advanced RED group rider or above.

The split will be:

Advanced RED and Beginner YELLOW in GROUP 1.

Advanced YELLOW and BLUE riders in Group 2.

You would choose a group when you register and we'll only take 30 of each.

Basically, this will be a ton of track time for short money. If you'd DEFINITELY GO, please add your name below. If we don't get enough interest, I won't bother.

I only have been to the rain fest. But stayed shinny (so to speak) side up. Felt smooth and quikish. Plus I rode EVERY sesion exept the last, due to stupidity.

As far as acceptance, if you feel you know the line pretty good, you should be fine.

So far, we have about 12 people that say they are definitely in.

Hopefully this is a good sign since it's only been a few hours.

If you really want this date to happen, please spread the word to other forums (that I'm not on).

Wait until tomorrow though... after I confirm it's a go. (or at least put the disclaimer in that it's not in stone yet)

What size tires do you need? (I have some in my trailer).

120/70 and 190/55 ... i was planning on Miles being there for June (2/3) and this 'opportunity' put a fly in the ointment of the tire schedule.

i may try the 'run whatya brung' method ... as long as they pass tech : i have a few sets of various 'shag' levels ... we will see ...

what you have in the trailer ?

Come on, it hasn't been that long I did attend a couple Friday practice sessions in 2006
I'll put in for a vacation day tomorrow, if it gets approved (I'm sure it will) I'm in!! Then I'll just have to get my ass in gear and get the new rubbers mounted to the KTM super retard bike
