We SHOULD have plenty of bandwidth. I've been slacking as far as cleaning the site up. It's something I should do from time to time to insure this doesn't happen again...

I went through yesterday and cleaned up a TON of stuff in the 'GALLERY'. There was one particular .gif file in there that was the single most user of bandwidth. Problem is, once we've used the bandwidth, it's gone. So even after cleaning it up, our allowance wasn't reset until midnight this morning...

I DID get more bandwidth to get us through for a coupla days though. We ate it up about 8 hours before we got reset though. I'm sure we could all function just fine without NESR anyway...

We've also been thinking of ways to help cover the costs of this growing site. Merchandise requires a BIG up front cost. A cost that took me nearly THREE years to recover as far as the shirts go. Not sure I wanna go that route again. Now that we're nearly outta shirts - the design was getting old any way - the site is no longer supporting itself. All costs associated with the site is now coming outta my pocket. And quite frankly, I'm debating whether or not *I* perceive it as a worthwhile cost. Not that it cost a lot, but the monthly & yearly fees do add up...

I don't think a membership fee would be a good idea, new members wouldn't register, thus, NESR would not grow. I'm all for a donation account tho. Some members cannot afford paying much, like myself, I'm out of work, and it's Man God who's paying for everything right now, including my bike payments and insurance. He paid for the t-shirts, mug and what else I bought from NESR. And he's not even an active member on here (he never post). I'm sure for now I could give a few bucks, but when I'm gonna be working, I'd be willing to give more just to keep NESR alive. If this site goes down....I don't know how the heck I'm gonna meet new riders. Believe it or not, NESR is one of the only things where I can "speak" with people and have a little fun once in a while. Mom at home doesn't allow much to meet and make new friends... But I understand I am not the only member in here. I just hope everything will work out at the end! Jay, if you come to a point where you're tired of running the site, maybe you could consider offering it to someone else who would be willing to take care of it so we don't loose NESR?

Heck even I'd pitch in a bit....
