Been lurking for a month or so now, figured I'd throw in an intro post. I don't have a bike yet, but I'm looking everyday and in the market for an '01 red or silver and black f4i, specifically. I rode dirt for about four years and have wanted to get into street riding for quite a while now, but never had the cash to do it until now (this is still arguable ). I haven't gotten my license yet since rhode island is just about the only state that makes you take an msf integrated course to get it. Not to say that I wouldn't take the msf anyway, but it's a pain in the ass when you send in your app over a month ago and they still haven't held a course.

Hopefully I'll be able to find a bike before the end of this season and take a couple rides with you guys. Looks like the RI scene is pretty plentiful around here.

Zolden, welcome to Nutty Exhibitionist Sportbikers Rhombus. Listen to the sarcastic chick, just show up to an MSF class if you can, someone might not show & a spot might open up as a result.

As for the cash thing, if that's holdin ya back, just drop your budget a little & you can still pick up a great mid-late 90's sportbike for like 2-3 grand

Well, apparently this chic wants it for her first bike. She's supposedly gonna get me the cash this weekend. She's waiting to close on her condo before she gets it to me. I'm just holding my breath that the deal doesn't fall through. That would completely piss me off.

I'm transferring the plates to the FZ this week, so if she doesn't buy, then the next person who's interested won't be able to test out the bike. I just want that thing gone so I can have more room in the garage. Too many toys!!!!!!

And, FazerChic, don't hold your breath on that condo thing. When Rob and I bought ours, we got pushed back a whole month. Talk about getting screwed. Luckily, they paid our rent for that extra month.... But apparently that isnt normal, so good luck getting rid of it!!

you have to take the MSF class in RI, its the only way to get your license
