Just saying hello

I'm in Cambridge, MA in school for the next year. I finally decided to look up from my studies and find some other sportbike riders. If anybody has any good suggestions on where to ride some nice twisties around here, I'm looking to see how my '02 F4i handles compared to the '96 F3 I sold over the winter.

Hopefully I'll end up talking to lots of you in person.

Welcome buddy

I'm in Wellesley not too far from ya. There are some nice roads once you get past route 20 - a little north west of the city

What's the general condition of the county/state roads around here anyways? If the roads in Cambridge are any indication, this is gonna be a long year.

any specific roads you'd recommend, or am I going off-topic?

Well, the roads out towards the Western part of the state are in fairly good condition. Cambridge is a HORRIBLE example of what roads should be like.

I might be doing some riding tomorrow afternoon if you want to join.

Welcome. You need to get AWAY from Boston to find decent roads. Western MA, like around Worcester and Springfield have some nice areas.

Head up into NH for better roads especially in the mountains. Bike week is next week so it is worth checking out for the sheer volumes of bikers in state during that time. Personally I stay away from the Weirs but if you've never been it can be cool.
