Chris from Windham NH here, have had a bunch of bikes since my first which was a GPZ750 in 1984 and got talked into a Buell X-1 a couple years ago. It has no top end, the seat averages 140 degrees, bars vibrate like a motherfuckr but its actually fun out of the hole and on the ramps. I've been considering Penguin with a Duc rental even with the wife's less than enthusiastic point of view . I'll probably do a track day with the Buell before the seasons over though I'm better off finding a cheap track bike, my bike doesn't like hanging around the redline. Hope to learn a lot here.

welcome....you don't need to rent a duc to do a track day. X1s are a blast at the track. watch the low foot pegs though.
