Just wanted to say hello to everyone. From what I've read so far this seems like a great forum.

I moved out here 5 years ago from the SF Bay Area (selling a '97 ZX-9R because I figured, well, cold and snow). I successfully fought the urgent need to spend money on another bike because of the WAY too long winters for a long time, but recently admitted defeat. So this season I'm on a new GSX-R600.

I really don't know a whole lot about where to ride out here; I went out last weekend exploring out 40 to 119 (I think) and ended up in NH north of Winchendon? Anyway it was fun, but less traveled (by cage) roads would be even nicer.. If anyone wants to PM me some good routes I'd appreciate it, or even better show me. Always, the more the merrier.

I'm in the Haverhill area at home, and the Lexington area at work.

Welcome Chris! 119 is a decent road on an early weekend morning. If it's during the week forget about it. I take that way to work and it gets way to congested.

Gonna head up there with a friend from work today and take 101 S towards Quabbin.

Like I said I really have no clue, just looking at maps and guessing what might be fun. Really though, as long as I'm riding it's all good...

OK note to self: 101 S in MA after Gardener wasn't so fun. Rough rough road. No visibility. Rest of the ride was fun. Didn't see any of this rain I keep hearing about.

hey chris, I'm Joel & I live just over in stoneham.

I'm gonna check out 119 probably next weekend. anyone know how rt 9 in NH is? looks like i could take 119 to I91, then pick up rt 9. I've never been over that way but rt 9 looks to be a very squiggly line on googlemaps lol.

nice, actually i'm in NA now but moving (rental to ownership, finally!) in about a month and a half. so i figured i'd just save myself the trouble and go with Haverhill from the start. :p
