moto and i are signed up for tony's apr 28. can't wait man. first track day for me. just don't want to dump the bike, thats all. i don't have seperate bikes to ride and take to track, unfortunatly.

I'm from Monkton - your neighbor to the north. Just listen for the FZ6... I finally took it out on Friday. The roads were slimy but rideable. Hopin' to take it out this afternoon too. Just after I put the snow plow back on the truck... Gotta love spring

Don't worry too much about riding on your only bike, I did track days on my one & only bike for over two years & only had one minor offing. A new handlebar & I was back in business.

Everyone... EVERYONE... is nervous the first time & there's no getting around it, but lemme ask ya two questions that might help settle the nerves...

1- Can you agree that the track is a safer riding environment than the street? (no hazzards, no cops, strict passing rules, etc)
2- Do you possess the ability to get on & ride a motorcycle within your personal limits and the bike's limits without crashing?


If ya can say "yes" to both of those, then in theory you should do just fine

(Of course 5-10 people per track day always find a way to prove that theory wrong )
