Southern VT new guy to the site

New to the site figured id say hey. Im located in the Bennington Vermont area. I ride a 2006 GSXR 600. When the weather comes around you'll usually find me riding with some friends on RT 100 or RT 9 in Vermont or on the Taconic Trail in Williamstown Mass. Sometimes i may ride the Mohawk Trail but its usually too busy. Anyways looking forward to Chatting with and possible riding with some of you fellow riders.

Chris

Hey, we're in Southwick MA, we include Rte 9 and 100 quite often in our rides. Maybe I'll see you on the roads this summer...

They are great roads and im lucky to live a few minutes away from them. RT. 9 can be cop heavy but RT 100 isnt usually too bad. You should try the taconic trail road. Its a road that connects Williamstown Mass to Petersburg NY. Its a short road but its pretty twisty and Fun with a place to pull over at the top. Im not sure what the RT # is though.

Yea there are lots of nice twisty roads. Although most are typical new england bumpy roads but still fun to ride. Hopefully ill find some new roads this season. Stratton is a good area to ride around.

And thanks for the welcome everyone!!

I've done it...lol I try to get as far as I can, but it's never far enough when on my bike. Farther (spelling?) I've been is Mont Tremblant, just about a week after I got my brand new Ninja 250 (one hour North of Montreal). We did Rte 5 most of the ride thru Vermont to get to the Rock Island borders to cross into Quebec, and we came back thru NY state roads. I upgraded my bike since, and I've gone as far as Kingston Ontario (going across the Adirondack Park) and I've been to the Catskills region also. I've done pretty much all the roads that are fun in Western MA, mainly in the Berkshires.

Wow thats some riding...my ass does not like me being on my bike for too long haha. Taconic trail is about 5 mins from my house...RT 9 is 10 miles and 100 is maybe 15-20 mins away. I just cant wait to ride. I would like to hit the dragon this year but who knows.
