Seriously though... You can't ride around thinking that your loud pipe is a safety feature, cuz it's not.

I'm not interested in getting into a discussion about whether or not loud pipes help... We each have our own opinon & I probably can't change yours just like you can't change mine. I'll just say that I and many of us here feel that loud pipes do far more harm to the image of sportbike riders than they do good for your personal safety.

But it's all cool, I ride with & get along w/ all kinds... even Denno
