Awesome bike man, I just got an 04 636 a few months ago myself and love it.

Do you happen to know if the forks are the same from the 05-06? It seems my left fork just started leaking bad all over my caliper/brake mount and I was thinking of picking up used fork legs for now rather than have a shop rebuild it for alot of money haha...online the part number is the same so that must not lie (I hope)

yeah the forks are interchangeable but the 05-06 forks have a different brake set up since the rotors are a different size. so if you do one fork you might as well do 2 and pick up a set of 05-06 rotors too.. if not then your better off sicking with an 03-04 fork
