Dont know what your talking about DucDave. No ones putting me up to anything. You insulted me with you arrogant post. Your pretty igonorant to jump out and insult somebody because you think your the "cool track guy". If you really wanted to argue with me instead of trying to look cool in front of your internet buddies then you'd PM me. Stop spamming up this new member's intro thread. You'll get to 3,000 post in due time, dont worry.

My original statement about the Kanc was intended to be humorous and was meant for other riders who've been on the Kanc and would know what I was talking about. Yes, its true in a way but its still worth it.

If you want to prove how fast you think you are then I suggest you come up with something that can be driven on the street and come out and play with us. Or pay for my track day 50% of my time breathing in my young life has been on a motorcycle of some kind so I'm up for anything.

Well sport, seems your 'humor detector' is out of kilter.

And, I am probably the slowest guy on the track. And I have nothing to prove. And, thats why I asked:

What? Kanc overrated? How can zipping thru mountain roads at 80-100+, while weaving in and out of cars, dodgeing bicycles and tourists, getting flipped off by cagers who you blast by, and a beautiful mountain scenery get old?

hahaha....you're a funny little dog...

...right?
Just to be sure it was meant in jest!

(btw...I probably know more about 'Faking it till you make it' than you!!!)

Chill...welcome. And seriously, ride your ride. You don't need my approval!

No, you've got a giant ass chip on your shoulder. You're the only one getting all worked up about track riding vs street riding, who's faster than who, etc. Most of us could give a fuck how fast you are or where you like to ride, so long as you do it with a degree of respect for others.

Indeed...and apparently it was a lot of fun on Ox's pit bike! Especially when he crashed, picked the bike up, and ignored the woman asking if he was ok!

Track guys are the only guys who know where to prove they can ride.

Re: Hi everyone!

this thread has so much testosterone... jersey girl will be so impressed!!!

p.s. Macho Man Peter...

there's plenty of great street riders out there, but dont come on here with your bakers dozen posts, and call people out... we may "sick" one of our lightweight racers on your liter bike around the track.

Re: Hi everyone!

Hi JG,

I think we are all forgetting that this thread is to say hi to someone that just got here. You guys should find a nice corner and whip it out to compare, then pat each other on the back and make up.

hey jersey, I am originally from NY and moved here half a lifetime ago. Now I have a hybrid Cawfee/Harvard accent thing going on. In a few years when you start sounding funny, watch how much your old friends will make fun of you.

As a side note, how would my wife get into the riding that you and jro are doing? She has been riding much longer than me and I think she would like it.

welcome aboard
carl
