Re: Hi everyone!

These guys aren't insulting, they have a weird sense of humor, if you don't catch on to it quick then it gets taken out of context.

welcome to you too pete,

new word, sarchasm:

"The abyss between the creator of witticisms and the intended recipient who does not find the humor in it."

hard to see it in people you don't know

It's not that "us trackies" look down on fast street riders because we think they're slow... in fact we don't look down on anyone... we just know that you guys don't know what fast REALLY is... because you can't (or at least shouldn't) do what you COULD do on the track out on the street.

And while I'm on the subject, I see "fast" street riders come & go all the time at the track because most of em think they're king shit cuz they're the so fast on the street... then they get to the track & see how slow they really are & they can't handle the hit to the ego when they get passed on their R1 going into the bowl by a guy on an EX500.

So instead of CHALLENGING one of us to a race in your world where nothing good will come of it, how bout if you accept his invitation into our world & come learn something?

Now go friggin relax.... & remember, you're not in your house anymore. We respect our elders here. (Even if we do make fun of em for being old )

My original statement about the Kanc was intended to be humorous and was meant for other riders who've been on the Kanc and would know what I was talking about. Yes, its true in a way but its still worth it.

If you want to prove how fast you think you are then I suggest you come up with something that can be driven on the street and come out and play with us. Or pay for my track day 50% of my time breathing in my young life has been on a motorcycle of some kind so I'm up for anything.
Dude you are a fucking tool. Go away!

"Come race me on the street" Is the idiocy of that statement not apparent?

"Pay for my trackday" Sell your precious R1 and buy a less expensive smaller bike that you will actually use 75% of then maybe you could afford a trackday!

Wow! I am so glad I found this thread.

Oh wait now he is gonna slam me for being some track riding wimp that can't really ride and is too chicken to take him up on his offer.

Let me save you the trouble.

I rdie the track because it is safer and keeps me away from the friggin yahoo's that give us a bad name when the do the stupid shit you spoke of on the street. It also keeps me MUCH safer and allows me to explore the limits of myself and the machine without putting many others at risk.

I get the "joke" I really do. Been there, done that, got the ticket.

I grew up. When will you?

Wow this thread from "let's welcome a new chick and try to see if she is attractive and/or easy" to "super ghey man-talk" in about 3.2 seconds.

Fail.

Re: Hi everyone!

I would love to do a track day with you guys. I can obviously pay for my own track day. Maybe we should start a new thread though. I'll need to find out rules / regulations etc. Where do you guys go?

Ive never been to a track. So Im obvioulsy prepared to get my ass handed to me for a while until I adjust. Its all part of the learning process and that doesnt bother me. There is a first time for everything.

So one last time...Im sorry for coming across as a dink and insulting you guys. I just didnt like being mocked or made a fool of. But Im willing to come clean and accept your offer for the track day. Who knows, maybe Ill like it, maybe not.

So.. whos riding tomorrow? (on the street)

I'll let you know when I'm going to the track. Maybe we can head out together, I've a got trailer that will fit both bikes.

There is a category on this forum dedicated to 3 different organizations that run track days. Plenty of information there so no need to start a new thread until you've read all that's already been explained.

Now, what was this thread about?
