Yeah, my brother was one of those types for a while (and now he coaches it).

I do miss skiing at this time of year, but having the bike helps--there's definitely some similarity in the kinesthetic feelings between the two. I think the comfort at speed might be a little too easily transferred, too, but I suppose the habit of looking ahead helps.
