Hey, welcome man! That's quite the paint job you got there.

Is that a one time thing, or are you in the bike painting biz? I've got a 2000 zx6e that I bought which has been down on both sides, I've been back and forth on either A) repainting it myself, B) having it repainted, or C) replacing the scratched parts. C would cost $400 minus I figure I can get $100 for the scratched parts on Ebay. Not sure about A or B. Anyway, if you wanna, talk about what went into painting and whether you'd recommend doing it yourself.

Heh, barely even here and I'm already puttin ya ta work...

hahah yeah let me have a beer first ok Painting my bike was not really that hard...alot easiert han painting a car I can say that...its nice cuz you can take all the parts off unlike a car. about the price it was not too bad for me because I already had a nice gravity feed gun and I borrowed a compressor from someone.. I just did it in a garage(which is illegal I believe was where i was anyways ) but it isn;t really too hard just dont; put too much paint on and get runs cuz that is a pain in the ass.
all I did was buy a book for painting and pretty much followed that. about me doing it..I've had few other people ask me to paint there stuff but I know I wouldn;t put as much into it as I did with mine. I spent pretty much a good 2 weeks painting my bike..But if the parts are already ruined it couldn;t hurt even if just for a spare set? Mine was in perfect condition that took some balls.. you can e-mail me if you got any questions I'd be glad to help..
