Bought this can for this season but it's not looking good that I will get out there. I spent 120 on the can and never opened it. If anyone wants it for let's say 80 bucks? Better then it going bad in my garage.

Been a while since I've needed to post in this section....last time on track was August of 2015. Looks like we don't have any recent threads on the topic.

I am in need of new gear for the track and it's been a hell of a long time since I shopped for it. The options today (vs 10+ years ago) are overwhelming. I could just go to the AStars website and throw down $7,500 on the latests and greatest Tech 10 everything, but I would really rather not. Help me out! I'd like to set a rough budget of $2,500 for the following:

* 1-piece leather suit
* compatible air bag system or ability to add compatible system at later date
* gauntlet gloves
* boots
* Am I missing something?

On the airbag front - I told myself I wouldn't go back to the track without one. I'm rethinking that position a bit now - I will not be out there chasing PB's and riding near my limit. I really just want to go and have fun with my friends and have the opportunity to push my bike harder than I would on the street. Do you still consider this a necessity, or do you feel that a quality suit with Level 2 CE armor is good protection?

If you’re looking for a GP2 that’s already been taken to the absolute limit of what a single‑R chassis can deliver, this is it. For Sale a 1995 TZ250 4DP serial # 006235. Just a quick back story, I purchased this bike in 2012 from an Asian gentleman whose friend raced it in Japan. They disassembled and imported it in pieces, reassembled but never got to ride it. I kept it looking the way the raced it in Japan with the Japanese sponsor stickers, tech stickers and tech paint marks. According to the serial number list on TZ250.com it appears to be the last 4DP made. I know none of this ads to the value just a little interesting history. It has not been started or raced since the beginning of Covid and I mainly raced it at Loudon.
It is pretty much a standard TZ250 with an Ohlins rear shock and Marchesini wheels. I installed an Artic Cat block heater to help bring it up to operating temperature under the advice of an older look time TZ racer. I always jetted it conservatively on the richer side. The spares include the stock wheels, spare yamaha crank, 2 4dp-20 cylinders, 4 new pistons don't remember the size or brand, 16 transmission gears, some final drive gearing, 3 stock handlebars, 2 replacement tubes for the Woodcraft bars, several levers, several foot pegs, some rear set parts, full jet kit with air density gauge and jet wheel, coil and spark plug boots, some gaskets and other small parts, factory rear stand and 2 brand new Yamaha 4TW heads.

Also in need of an ohlins stabilizer mount for the same bike.

I've been running a cheap, no-name phone mount for about 5 years with great success and no complaints. I recently got a new phone, however, and it's now popped out of my mount twice; once on a paved road, and once on a rough dirt road. So, I think I need to upgrade.

Do I just go Quad Lock and call it a day, or are there other options I should consider? I've used the 4 prong springy Ram ones and I'm not a fan. I don't love the idea of needing a special case to match a mount, but I can deal with it. I also have phone mounts on 3-4 of my bikes, so not breaking the bank would be cool (or something that's easily swapped between bikes). Wireless charging would be cool, but not necessary. I'd also be open to one that's better on road and one that's better off road.
