    longtime lurker

    lurked for far too long and just trying to get past 5 posts so I can PM lol. Put 15,000 miles on my '03 sv650s last year including a trip to Cali and back. I picked up an '03 sv1000s this winter for CHEAP and have already swapped for gsxr front and rear suspension, gsxr front and rear wheels, r6 monoblock calipers, 2-into-1 exhaust, removed more weight (40 lbs total) and a new paint job that'll be done this weekend (hopefully). I'm continually modding and I'll post some pics up when everything is done/when i'm not at work lol.

    the warm welcome is thoroughly appreciated. wish I could keep the sv650 and make it track only, but the extra $$$ will be beneficial for a down payment on a house, and if the government is gonna pay me $8k to buy a house, I'm doing it! I'm sure I'll get another "lil" 650 soon enough for the track. The extra hp on the 1000 is much welcomed when you're doing 1,000+ mile touring trips on the weekends/vacations.

    Nope, this is Scott lol. I'm only a youngin' too, just turned 22 sadly. Live and play sports in Western mass, work in southern-central mass as a network admin, visit friends in woostah and boston on typical weekends, and travel anywhere from Maine to Florida when I can during the summer... I travel a lot...

    I'll post the pics of the 1k later, I promise. It's still suspended in the garage lol

    Southbridge. My employer is the military contractor who supplies the US millitary with 80% of their night vision fiber optics from helmet mounts to m1 tanks to global hawks. Its cool working with the glass and raw production processes all the way up to the servers and corporate network. I'm not just a regular network/sys admin stuck in a cubicle. Small office means more roles, and it's much more fun!
