    New guy from CT

    Hello everyone,

I'm an automotive painter, been into cars since I can remember, but I'm getting into bikes now. This is my first year riding my bike, picked up my 06 sv650 last October and went about painting/building/making it what i wanted over the winter. I hang out over at svrider.com mostly, but wanted to get involved in a club that was more local. Once I get some more experience/time on the bike I plan to try out some track days! Any guys here around the north eastern part of CT?

Here's my build thread over on svrider for those interested:

Sick! I am from your neck of the woods as well. Maybe we can get a good group going this summer. I am over in Pomfret.

Pomfret is only 20+min away from me. I'm right over in Willington. Straight shot down rt44. I always find myself wandering over that way for the more quiet twisty back roads. Still need to make a mandatory stop over at the Vanilla Bean.

Welcome & Good Morning from Farmington, CT

I raced my SV650 SuperBike from 2000 to around 2006, then got into 125cc & 250cc 2-stroke race bikes. Recently picked up '01 SV650 Instructor Track day bike, so it seems it all comes back full circle...
