So here I am!

Started with a '80 kz550 LTD. Next year bought an '86 GPz900. (both 15+ years old). Being the first of your friends with bikes is magic - you can loan them one till they are hooked.

Just ran into my first bike reminder: a yellow tag from the shop where I bought it. 86 Honda Vt500. T'was a fine machine but traded it in on current bike after totalling zzr600 (second bike). Welcome from a relative newcomer here as well.

Hey there, happy to see I'm not the only one sporting an ancient bike now :p Not much parts support for these guys. Know any good places to get stuff? GPZZone has a decent selection but shipping across the giant lake is expensive. And even he seems to be having trouble finding stock. Quite a bit of parts now read "no longer available".
