Thanks! I appreciate it! :)
Last week my bike was running great. Then it rained for a few days and the bike sat. Sunday I went to go for a ride, and the bike:
1A) Didn't want to start
1B) Once started, wouldn't idle
1C) If I turned the idle up a bit (knob on the carb) it would hunt around to different rpms
1D) Would not run between 3000-5000 rpm. Lower or higher sorta worked, but not great.
Today I took the tank off and found this:

Both pods are cracked at the base, and letting air bypass the filter. So now:
2A) Will this really cause my engine issues?
2B) Has anybody seen this before?
2C) They are about 4 years old - Why did they crack?
Then I decided to start it without the filters for fun. Naturally it wasn't too thrilled about starting so I gave it some throttle. Much to my surprise - gas started pouring out of this hole on both carbs:

3A) Why does the throttle position make that happen?
3B) Is that normal?
Thanks guys!

Update: New filters on, but that didn't fix the problem. Turns out that some crap had clogged one of the mixture screws. Either way, running great again!
Now that I have ridden it a few hundred more miles, I am itching for something different. Anybody want to trade me a different cool bike for it? :)
I might know a guy selling his RC51:poke:  Hes not interested in trades though. :naughty
