What is your inseam? Can you even tip toe without lowering? or have you try a thinner seat instead? How much are you lowering your bike?

Re: Hey.... trying this out...
I'm same height as you. I decided not to put lowering links in. I just tightened the suspension to get it so I could reach ground. I think it like 1' 1/2 in front, 1' in back. Works pretty good and it didn't cost as much as buying the parts and paying someone to install and won't be a problem for the next owner to put back up to stock. Although, I did need to cut my kickstand because bike no longer leaned and it was a tipping hazard.

Very nice bike. Your going to love it! ... I love mine :groove:

Re: Hey.... trying this out...
ohh i see.. sounds like just as much work lol. i dunno i feel more comfortable getting it lowered. a friend of mine is lowering it and hes done some others so im not paying as much.
hey back!

Re: Hey.... trying this out...
Easy to adjust suspension (and its free) and it only cost $25 for kickstand. But w/e, and I haven't had any issues with handling either. I was just saying, it's just another option. But if you know someone then all's good. Get some frame sliders for any unsuspecting oops and your good to go. :shredder:

Generally speaking, when a new girl shows up, especially one with a good looking picture in the avatar, it's one of a select few posters seeing how much he can rile us up. :) No worries, we're just all crazy here, hence the "welcome to the shit show" comment. It's all good, we have fun.
