I'm getting back into riding after a few years off. Just rode my 2001 CBR600 back from Cleveland to Boston last week. Nothing like 8 hours of rain to welcome you back on your first ride. Waterproof is apparently a relative term.
I picked up riding in college and started out on a 92 Katana until I got the CBR. Did about 3 years of road racing with AHRMA and a local track on a '92 GS500.
Are there any consistent rides/meet-ups in the area? We had a good HSTA group in Cleveland that usually pulled in anywhere from 15-40 people each Saturday. Looking for something similar.
Thanks all!
Jeff
Welcome Cake -
When you refer to "area" what do you mean? In other words - you forgot
to say where you moved to![]()

Welcome to NESR!
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Thanks for the update on the Lowell Cycle Night.
Bill - can't nail you on missing Boston. I do the same thing all the time.
I'm guessing NESR doesn't have any consistent rides?
canker I live in Everett work in Boston. Always trying to arrange weekend rides. Nights too when it warms up. Definitely riding this coming weekend. Just keep an eye on the rides forum as we get closer to Thursday Friday. You will see some plans developing.
Still not sure where you're from but I lead a bunch of rides for Seacoast Sport Cycle leaving from their shop in Derry NH. First ride is April 26th. Leaving at 9:00 and riding to Louden for the first Sunday of the Louden Road Racing Series. Breakfast at the Lion Cafe...its a pretty good time and some pretty nice roads.

Hope to see you out there...!

Thanks for the Loudon invite - I'll have to pass on this one. I work every other weekend but will try to meet you up on another ride.
