So I get to be the the "NOOB"
well im from the frozen tundra of Minnesota.
Im very involved in our motorcycle ways. from street rides, stunt shows, race, and all the track time I can gobble up!
The reason I looked for and found this forum is, I have family in R.i and Mas. that I would like to visit this season. mom, step dad, sister, brother in-law,etc.
My mother is not doing so well so I figure a visit is in order.
Why would I not take the bike across country and meet some new folks and try out a new track or 2 along the way.
I plan to go early spring (ish) and will take about 2 weeks in my travel.
so any and all help would be great!
My destination would be Hope R.I
but if i could do a track day that would be fantastic
what track do I need and who do I talk 2 to sign up!
thanks yall and have a great season!
Bob
welcome to the site.
Nice! Two weeks touring the countryside on a motorcycle. I envy you.
Basically the closest tracks to you in RI are NJMP and NHMS.
As far as trackday organizers in this area, there are a few to choose from and all with slightly varying approaches. You can check the track schedules to see which organization best fits your time table. You will find happy and dedicated customers at all of the local organizations so I'd say do some research on each one, don't hesitate to ask questions and above all, get here safely!
Welcome to the shorbus.
Welcome to the forum! Lotta info here. We can get you on the track too. We have a section just for that issue. Also how to's, events, drunkathons, rides, classifieds, and the pits with a subsection with Monday morning race reports.
Isn't VIR close? NHMS might be too far away.

sweet im down to take a ride with any and all riders!
but I love to drag a knee at any chance I can.
what is the deal with the toll roads? are there a lot of them and are they a
pain in the ass? we have 0 of them
few tolls roads around
Mainly the Mass Pike . . .RT 90 its a pain and charges u like every 20 ft once u get around Boston, i got a fast pass lol
There's a toll bridge in RI going out to Newport and then the next closest ones i can think off are when your on 95S around NYC lol so there arent to many
