A sprayer makes short work of it. Prep is a bear tho.
Yup. Like you said, prep is a bitch unless you want overspray everywhere. Even then, I'm likely to get overspray everywhere! LOL! It would likely increase the quantity of paint a bit as well. However...But I'd definitely do it differently if I was forced to do it again.

Prep 1 - getting all the "to be painted" surfaces properly cleaned, scuffed, and repaired for proper adhesion.
Prep 2 - masking off everything "not to be painted."
These are both unbreakable, mandatory rules, with one exception...
If you're selling, get a quick cover on it, hope the buyer doesn't really "know" and RUN!

We pushed it off for a week. Listing next week, open house both days next weekend. ALL the kids and ALL the grandkids are coming up this weekend for one more party day on the lake and I sure as fuck don't want the kids around during the open house! LOL!
I have hauling the Corvette & Street Glide taken care of and we're locking in the moving company today. There's A LOT of shady-ass "moving companies" out there, be careful! We went with nationally known carriers for prices and picked accordingly.
Big Shirl's gonna meet the movers in Gettysburg the first weekend in August (maybe early the next week), and she's staying. A buddy and I are heading down with the Corvette & Street Glide the last weekend in August, then I'm coming back with him to grab the Frontier and wrap things up at the shop, get the last of the little stuff from the house, etc.
Some of you definitely know how it is. But man! Seeing your life in boxes all around the house is just...something else. It's amazing how one can condense their lives into boxes & storage units. Depressing, exciting, anxious, and exhilarating all at once.
