Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
My coworker found a black powder percussion cap revolver. Unfortunately rusted solid.
What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
Right after I bought my house, when I was gutting my kitchen, I found a pocket-size digital gram scale on top of one of the cabinets.
7-8 years later when I was remodeling the basement, I found a cell phone hidden inside a built-in cabinet in the den. A coworker had a charger that fit it, it charged and powered on. Nothing too interesting on it, some family pics, but this text message was funny:

I found a bag of snoots on top of a beam in an old house.
Haven't found anything but shoddy and dangerous work. My favorite would either be plumbing via garden hose or the live electrical twisted together, wrapped in tape and stapled to balsa wood.
Never found anything in the house. Growing up on the farm, we found a bunch of old native American arrow heads. I just ran across them the other day in a bag. I was going to frame them or something neat, then lost interest...
Dad's Dream: Earn enough money to live the life that his wife and kids do.
I found a Zarley Zalapsky rookie hockey card.
hmmmm......
That's awesome. I'd just be happy there weren't any lotion-filled baskets in that thing.
I found an old peel-top beer can in between the drywall, so I put it back with a freshly emptied modern can for the next guy to find.
I did find a nice tactical flashlight up in my attic recently. It had clearly been there for about 10 years, which, coincidentally, is about the time I lost one that looked just like it :/
The overdue mortgage statements, foreclosure notices, and handwritten attempts of math to pay $4k of back payments and $3k of utility bills with $1200. All lost by overfilling a kitchen drawer so they fell into the cabinet base.
Oh, and a totally emo hand written note a 12 year old girl wrote complaining how much she hated living there, carefully folded up and stuffed into the toilet reservoir up by the valve just above the water line.

Cleaning out my parents' basement I found a "new in box" baseball signed by Babe Ruth.
I discovered that my house was built piecemeal by a lumberyard grunt that brought scraps home at night. A 6ft sidewall stud that is a 5ft stick and a 1ft stick attached to 2 3ft sticks. Thank god for nail guns, its all hard as a rock rough cut hemlock They were cellar dwellers too, block foundation, constructed in 2 distinct sections. I found a layer of roofing material in the flooring when I gutted the house
Over the years, as a surveyor, I learned that the original owner had worked for one of my clients athis lumberyard. I've heard many stories, One day the state police showed up with a cadaver dog, wanted to sniff around my back yard on the tip of some felon that had been in prison a couple decades

A man without a gun is a subject LETS GO BRANDON
That's awesome!
Farmer Nate still has his in his basement and it's in incredibly well shape.
Most fucked up thing we've found IN the house was Newspapers from when Kennedy was assassinated. There were a bunch of them stuffed in the one of the walls we were rehabbing. They were in incredibly good condition even though the house "camp" was built a few years later. In one of those same (Boston) papers, there were ads for 1 acre WATERFRONT lots in Alton, NH for $1000.
We always seem to have a lot of things come up from underground in & around our yard too: Old kids toys (like, from the 60's & 70's), a couple saucers, bricks & even a window pane or two.
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
You could keep a Joe Dirt in the hole.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Plumbing for what was intended to be a bathroom where a “den” was added at some point
My friend in CA finds dildos all over his house whenever he opens anything up. He's found them in the walls, ceiling, even buried in the garden. At last check he had a 5 gallon bucket that was about half full.
