I have a drum pump to pump fuel out of a 55 gallon drum. Right at the beginning of the hose, it constantly leaks. Ive "rebuilt" that section 3 times. im almost about to wrap the threads about 12 times with thread tape to stop it. Does anyone know of anything else i could try to do? this is getting old now.

Liquid pipe sealer or locktite maybe. Not the one that needs heat but the other one. That's all I can think of.

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
Make sure you use something that isn't dissolved by fuel.
