    Shipping car from Portland OR

Been a number of years since the last car I shipped to Colorado so I am wondering which company can ship from west coast to east coast nowadays.

Only name that comes to my mind is Forward Air. Any other suggestions?

Im using Montway auto transport now and they have been pretty good. I was using Uship but i got tired of the shady drivers surprising me with extra fees before they would drop the car off.
I had my gt500 shipped from LA to MA this week and it was about a grand.

If you want enclosed, I've used Intercity Lines with great success. Own their own trucks, good driver communication etc. Wasn't the cheapest but biggest reason for me to chose them was they were nice and accommodated extra items shipped around the car (engine, transmission, other parts) in addition. Which was a huge requirement for me that they entertained for a small extra fee. Many others refused.

Open trailer is a whole another ballgame. Many of the sites and companies will simple act like brokers and get your order it and then put it out on the market to see who they can get cheapest. Not ideal and you never know who you get.

Local company, does a lot for the motorsports community and comes reccomended often in that group. No personal experience with using them.

2005 Legacy GT with 93,000 miles. The engine was built correctly and reportedly put down 470 hp on corn. Also had a ton of supporting mods to make it excellent in every aspect, carbon driveshaft, 6mt swap

It wasn't so much the car as it was the asking price of 2-3k. Seller hadn't driven it much since the build and he was concerned about a few things, particularly the E85 that had been in the car for the last few years. He also didn't "need" the money and was moving to Georgia in a couple weeks.

Some lucky bastard is taking a 22hr round trip from Utah to pick it up.
