Hey All
So I had a slight bump in with something and now the passenger side rear wheel is pushed forward. The dealer is telling me like $1800 for the fix and I think thats crap. Anyone know someone good??

My ex takes her MkIV GTI to Nick at Foreign Auto Center in Cambridge on Prospect St. It's between Broadway and Hampshire. He seems honest and fair to me after looking at some of the bills. In the very least he will be cheaper than the stealership. PS don't go to Boston VW. They've had some really bogus stuff happen there.
For more info on VW's check out VWvortex.com. When I had the GTI I used that forum for a lot of inforamtion, there is a ton on there. There is also a big section for local dubbers, I'd ask them too.

Hey ALl
I am taking it to Autobahn in Peabody tomorrow morning. They are actually going to put it up on a alignment machine to see what exactly is bent instead of guessing like colonial VW.
Oh and if you get an oil change at Colonial be sure to check the level before you leave they left me 3.5 quarts low after an oil change and I just found out yesterday. Great people.
