football survivor pool - $100 - its all online

I am running a football survior pool - I have about 30 people playing so far... and its open to anyone if you are interested.

It is all online. I usually run a couple big superbowl squares every year online - and it works out well. I can accept paypal, and I can pay cash or paypal. I paypal'ed over $3,000 last superbowl ---


How it works:

You sign up - join the league.

You pick 1 team each week that you think will win the game. straight up. no points.

if they lose - you are out.

if they win, you move on to the next week.

last man standing wins all the cash.

the catch is: you cant pick the same team twice during the year. ... so you cant pick the pats to win every week.


They usually last 10 weeks or so.... so you will have your $ just in time for christmas! ha.

it is winner take all, and I dont take a cut. There is a small site fee from the website I go through (you can see the fees right on the site)....

but if 43 people sign up --- u are getting close to $4300 bucks if you win it.

not a bad deal for $100.




anyways --- its legit... some of you on the board know me in "real life" - and i am sure can vouch for me.

some of you don't, and probably think i will steal your $100.

so in week 8, when you already picked the good teams.... u might be screwed.

have to plan ahead!

we have over 30 already signed up - and hoping for 35-40 by tomorrow noon.

I used to play the same type of game. I once made it to the top 7. I saved a sure thing just like 6 others. The sure thing failed and one man got $6500. The biggest trick is to try and get rid of the best teams as soon as possible and save Detroit for when you really need them.

This year I decided not to play in any football pools. I have always won my money back minimum. Usually I place in the top 3. I know it's all for fun, but I seemed to start stressing out near the end of the season because I didn't want to loose my winning position.

we started with 32 people --- and lost 10 the first week.

had 5 people pick Cleveland - one guy pick INDY! another kid pick PITT .....

some wild picks.


I took arizona along with 4 others.


Looking at PITT, Green bay or the Jets for next week.
