Not mine, just passing on a deal for a track bike.

Haha ... no title, call and ask for G
That's why it would make a cheap track bike.

What up 'G?
I'd be interested if i wasn't such a bitch. Good deal, even without the title, depending on how many of the miles are track miles.
No advertised track niceties like special kick ass brand springs (and other important stuff) installed by PK, so not a "full on" racer yet, but price reflects that (as retarded as I am).
I'm digging to see whats up with it. Who can run a VIN #??

G's spot?
Some poor son of a bitch left the key in it while he ran into the store or the guy bought an ignition and key combo for it online.
How about a registration and an ID showing it was registered to the guy selling? Or original paperwork from the dealership?
Come on we all know this bike is NOT legit. I bet you that green pickup in the picture has some blue paint on the inside of the bed.

Perhaps worth pointing out that it is missing the plastic cover that goes over the headlights, just in front of the tree. You know, the ones you have to remove to gain access to the ignition and the wiring.

Sorry, not trying to shit on the OP. I'm just dumbfounded that people think its that easy. And anybody that buys it is clearing buying a stolen bike. I'd mame the guy if he grabbed my Daytona and I saw it for sale for like $3k with no title, just to make an example of him for the rest of the people.
I can't run a VIN but I'm curious to see what he tells you when you ask for it. "sorry, the last owner drilled it out to save weight on the track"
It probably may be stolen, but what about all the non title bikes getting sold on this forum? Im interested in buying a track only bike, but wonder why so many bikes being sold publicly online has no title.
I can run a vin# to see if the owner ever made a claim for a theft on insurance.
If there was no claim/coverage then I wouldn't be able to tell.
I think the price is about right for what it is.
It may or may not be stolen. Yes, the way the ad is written it is quite a bit more suspect. But just do your homework on the VIN (police, dmv) & talk to the seller. If it doesn't add up, walk away. Otherwise, would be a decent starting point for a track bike.
Whatever, I've bought newer bikes without titles that were clean Vin bikes. go through a third party, get a new title, or have last registered owner file for a lost title if you can find them. All else fails, buy a titled frame and swap over. By no means would I buy stolen goods, I run the Vin, but title-less bikes are around that are clean.

I never received a responce back, so I am assuming it's most likely stolen and he wants a no questions/quick sale. ? Or it already sold and he is just ignoring emails.
This is what I emailed the person.
"I am interested, is there a way to prove ownership like a previous registration? I could care less about a title as I would only be tracking this, but this would be very difficult to resell down the road without proof is legit."

I have an 2007 zx6r with no title that im still trying to sell for ONLY $2000. I put it up on the "for sale" location but no takers. I posted the vin also to show it is not stolen. Lost the title, got it at an auction. Can't get another one b/c the people at the auction are not helping what so ever to get me a affidavit.
