    1993 900rr fireblade

Just putting a feeler out there for my bike. I was just going to keep it and slowly try to restore it to pristine since I've always liked it/wanted it. I hardly put any more miles on it, too busy with kids and thinking of just clearing up some space and money until I get the chance to ride more.

I'll put some pictures up, thought I had some but can't track any down.

Bike is in Natick, MA with around 35K miles on it. Title is off by a decimal, so it says 250,000 or something like that. It's up and ready to roll with no problems at all. I was slowly working on it, again to restore to a nice perfect bike. Fairings are all in pretty good shape with no major broken pieces or scratches.

    I have put on:

    New air filter
    New plugs
New ignition switch/gas cap/ tail lock
Modified exhaust (to be close to stock.. it was chopped when I bought it) with an Akrapovic carbon fiber can.** To be perfect, it needs to have another bend welded into the stock exhaust where it was cut/rusted out. It's on fine and doesn't have any hissing leak sounds.
Brand new chain (maybe 700 miles on it)
Brand new tires front and back (same 700 miles).
    New windscreen, tinted black
    New battery (last season)

It is the black color with grey and red highlights. I'll either find a picture or snap one as it sits in the shed.

Looking for $2,700 obo. If you are looking for gear I could probably sell some of mine off too for extra $$$ I am a medium size, so pretty much that's what everything is.

It is registered and ready to go. No inspection sticker for this year yet. I could probably ride it within a reasonable distance if you don't have a trailer or a license.. time is really my only problem. I think I only got about 700 miles on it last season which is why I'm thinking I should just sell it for now.

This is the paint scheme.. and looks like a shot that I have of mine

I thought that the name was all together.. ie the fireblade was the largest cc bike.. so the 900rr, 954 and 1000rr are still all fireblades.

It feels like an old school muscle car... all the torque and power, feels heavy around the corners. I'm comparing this to the one I had before.. a 2005 R6.. I really really like it though. I just feel it's going to be dormant in the shed for at least another... 4/5 years with only a few hundred miles a year..

    Wirelessly posted

I was a little on the fence about this... but letting it sit in the shed for a bunch more years seems such a shame. The new owner sent me a text yesterday telling me how happy he is with it. At least it went to a good home, and now my kids can park their power wheels beside my lawn mower.....
