I saw a couple on E-Bay, but the best place is either Speedzilla or Rogue sites.

yeah, I have looked at the ebay thing. A new one from Ron Ayers is $299 which is tempting. I placed an offer on one on Ebay that looked ok. But, $299 looks pretty damn good for a new one, that I don't have to deal with tearing everything down only find it still leaks etc. and fleabayed.

In your vast knowledge is a 2001 different from 2002? They are different part #'s on Ron

Ron Ayers is great and will have the model years seperated with a different microfiche. Stick with the correct year and there will be no question you will get the right part!

Almost everything between the years are interchangable.
Different swing arms is the main difference between the SP1 (2000-2001) & SP2 (2002-2008).
Oh yeah because of the different swing arm the exhaust is also different. Headers and midpipes are run slightly different to bend around the different swingarms.
SP2's has a shorter wheelbase/ which is made by a shorter swing arm. Looks nicer also.

I am not 100% sure if there are any other diiferences. Degsy is the best person on here to ask about RC's!!

If you decide to go full OEM, get the part number from RA, but buy from Zanotti, https://www.zanottimotor.com/shopping/partLookUp.html.

Usually save some considerable coin buying from them.

Edit, the left radiator is $292 at Zanotti and they're usually cheaper for shipping as well.

Hope your injoying the RC, How did you like your first ride on it? And i would go used on the radiator , Look at the persons feedback . If its 98% and he garentys no leaks buy it. Have a good one ,and keep those kids away from the bike.........lol

yeah the newness has already gone away for the kids. It is that whole 30 second attention span. Now they just walk by it.
I made an offer on one on ebay that looked ok, it was rejected... so I countered and waiting to hear back. Its not leaking that bad, but I did refill the radiator and overflow. I'd say it lost about a cup on 25 mile spirited ride.

felt like gambling and picked up one on ebay for $130 buckaroos.... delivered lets see what I get.. seemed to be in the best shape by looking at the pix and its for an 01
