2020 Thumpstar TSX 125 Big Wheel (pitbike)

picked this up to ride the yard with the kids but never ended up using it much. bike is in mint condition, second owner, had plans to build this up but we're busy with other bikes. needs nothing but a rider.

2020 Thumpstar TSX 125 Big Wheel

- 17/14 wheelset
- brand new 125cc motor with maybe 2hrs on it
- new plug
- fresh oil change
- new tubes
- new tires
- new ProTaper grips 'n donuts
- new ProTaper bar pad
- new clutch lever
- TRC CDI
- carb just cleaned

the plastics are CRF110 copies, we planned to convert to red/white Honda scheme but never did.

yup, in addition to riding the yard, i was going to teach Ben clutch on it but ended up grabbing the GG65 for him.

Australian pitbike brand that's been around for a while, almost bought one years back but went with a Pitster Pro instead. more info on Thumpstar here.

depending on age/height, i think it's a good starter bike with the basic 125cc Lifan motor. just your standard pitbike 4T setup with manual clutch.

no clue what happened to the original motor, it may have been a 140 since it's the bigwheel 17/14 model. the original owner didn't seem to be much of a 2-wheel rider, used it to chase kids around but overall doesn't seem to have been used much as you can tell by pegs, frame wear areas, etc.

the new CDI was to help with kickback for my, at the time, 8 year old. the TRC CDI has lower advance at low RPM for easier starting.

new clutch lever because it fell off the stand while i was cleaning it.

also bought a larger Mikuni carb for it but was too much so it's got the stock carb back on.
