Re: '62 Dodge Power Wagon
funny how a thread like this can reveal a peek into ones soul.. .
Re: '62 Dodge Power Wagon
I admittingly know nothing about the H3 truck. I do know that my ex's mother had the H3 SUV and it was the biggest piece of shit, rebranded trailblazer that was worse in all ways. I imagine the truck was the same thing, but locking diffs and a V-8 change that.
I also assumed a 5cyl base truck (like they have listed) would be practically worthless, unless you REALLY have a thing for hummers. The stick shift is the only selling point, which is actually pretty dang cool; manual hummer, who knew.

I find it funny that you think GM products are crap and love VW products. :spit:

Its actually pretty simple:
1) I value the fit/feel/finish/practicality more than pure, drop dead reliability
2) Car purchases are emotional, I have VW in my family
And I don't think all GM products are crap. I just don't see anything nostalgic or redeeming about any of those cars I listed.
You can feel the same about all VWs if you want, but mint MK4 Jettas are $2k, not whatever price this guy is trying to sell his mint 00's GMs. That is the difference. And I'd make the SAME comment on anyone trying to get that type of money for a run of the mill VW.

Hilarious. That’s actually my buddy’s company/side hustle. He kills it with those mint ‘90s cars (mostly Fords) on BAT.

This reminded me of one of my favorite sayings…
“Just because it’s old, doesn’t make it a classic”
