I have a chatterbox GMRS X1 for sale. The unit is in very good shape, has two helmet mounts, instruction manual, battery charger, speaker kit that installs into helmet with mic, push button switch for handlebar and wire that will allow MP3 usage.

Bump! Is no one looking to be able to communicate with other riders (as well as listen to music) that have chatterboxes? These are great on long rides!

Do you just have one or two? When did you buy it? How many times have you used it?

I have one unit, have not used it since 07 but I did cycle the battery a couple of times. I bought it a year or two prior than that and it worked great.

Small group! Maybe one possibly two houses. Anyway you can talk to Ron & Nancy? If not I have another lead close by that we might be able to get cheaper?

After last year I am not sure if Ron & Nancy were mad at me? They never return my messages or Clay's. We never made a reservation for 2008 and they sent a message two weeks prior to our ussual reservation asking if we were showing up. I responded saying we were not and did not make a reservation for this year or send a deposit...
A few months later Clay & I both sent a message checking availability and never heard back from them.

I dont think the burnouts were the problem. I think it was not going the following year, and they expected us? I guess going a total of 7 trips, 6 years straight on the same week can sort of be expected. Now we want to change the week because the Sept one was so perfect!

You think not getting a deposit in December would be the first clue...

BTW we were all freaking trashed that night of the burnouts!! We even got R7 to do one!!!!! That is unheard of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am searching for the proof now. I believe somebody ( Cough/BRUCE ) has video. What the hell ever happened to getting a vidoe anyways? Where is the hardrive now?
