Looking to sell my 1995 Ninja 500, which has been customized.

The Good
Starts and Runs perfectly.
Custom Paint (Electric Candy Orange) (Touch up paint included).
Custom Full Fairing, Mounted and reinforced.
Flush Mount Front Blinkers (Bulbs, but they do flash slightly faster).
Shorty Controls (orange to match bike).
Upgraded dash lights to LED (Less draw on battery).
New Back tire (wider than stock, for more surface area during cornering).
Brand New Chain, Sprocket and rear wheel bearings.
ALWAYS GARAGED

The Bad
Prior to my owning this bike, it was defiantly dropped (When painted i had all damaged fairings. reinforced and fixed, you wont notice until you remove the plastics and look at the insides of them)
Some Scraping on exhaust pipes.
Cracked front Fender (See picture).
Minor Chip near windscreen (See Picture).

The OK
27,000 or so miles (I still ride it as my daily driver).
Oil consistently changed on time and at the start of every season.
Consistently winterized properly.
Passenger pegs have been replaced with steel style pegs which act as frame sliders.
No Tank Dents.
Clean Title.


This is the PERFECT beginner bike as it has a little more pep than a 250, however it is much more forgiving than going straight to a super-sport (Ninja 636, GSX-R 600, CBR 600). The other positive feature is that with its customization it looks less like a beginners bike. I have yet to see another Ninja 500 like it, very few people have had luck with mounting the full fairing. Another factor I always loved about this bike is that it has never failed to start since I bought it three years ago.

If you are a new rider, I also have enough gear I am willing to sell to enable you to ride immediately (provided you are a similar size). I currently have, and am willing to sell
1X Flat Black Medium HJC Helmet with clear shield (Fits like a large or XL in my opinion)
1X Flat Black Medium Scorpion Helmet with Clear Shield. (Size is accurate)
1X All Black Medium Joe Rocket Ballistic Textile Jacket with protective padding (Liner is missing)
1X Orange Medium Xelement Textile Protective pants with padding and venting.

If Gear is needed we can determine what fits and we can discuss price depending on which gear is wanted (not looking to make money off this equipment, just looking to ensure a fellow/new rider is going to be safe)
