I am the second owner. Purchased it back in 2008. Bike has 21,000 miles. Last year I put on brand new DID 525 chain and sprocket front and rear. Rear is a “super sprocket”. Valves were checked last year and are within spec. Air filter and plugs have less than 1,000 miles on them. SVTA motor replaced 2 years ago as it was throwing a CEL. Bike runs ABSOLUTELY perfect. Bike has full Ti exhaust off a 1000 GSXR. Yoshi pipe has been shortened and sounds great. ASV levers, Zero gravity screen. Stompgrip on tank. Fresh Bridgestone BT016 up front and fresh BT003r (2 track days) on rear. New pads front and rear too. Bike has seen lots of track days but NEVER crashed or been tipped over. I have never wheelied the bike or beat on it in any way. I run blue group with TTD. The bike is the cleanest 21k GSXR with 35 track days you will ever see. Fairings are 98% mint. Bike is currently registered and ridden on street/track. Suspension has been done by GMD Computrack in Bellingham. Front Penske re-valve kit and Racetech springs (set up for 200-210 pound rider) and a rear Penske 8980 shock. The OEM damper has been removed and an authentic Ohlins damper is in it’s place. Total spent on the suspension is $2300.00. Stator replaced last year and comes with a magnesium Yoshi cover. Comes with custom front and rear seat covers as well. Battery just replaced in January as well. Comes with leads for tender too. Bike also comes with brand new STILL IN WRAPPER Yoshimura exhaust pipe (full length version of what is on there now. I bought it 2 years ago for $300 off ebay.
Spares included in sale:
1. OEM levers
2. OEM stator with stator cover (stator worked fine when replaced last year)
3. OEM windscreen
4. OEM clip-ons
5. OEM passenger pegs (both sides)
6. OEM rear sets (both sides)
I am not desperate to sell. Price is firm. It will be going up on CL for $5000.00 if not sold here. Bike can be seen in central MA.
PM me if interested.

A V-twin come the spring 2014.
The 2008 ZX6R is going to be the new track bike,
Long time no speak. An HD Twin? Coming to the dark side? Or Italian twin? Or other twin? Do say.
It's about time lol
For those that don't know Mike, he is absolutely anal with everything he owns. The term you could eat off it doesn't even cover it. This bike litter ally looks as good or better than some brand new bikes I have seen.
"You don’t need to tell me the horror story about your uncle’s buddy who wiped out his chopper while drag racing at some hooligan rally. That just makes me wish I were talking to your uncle’s buddy instead of you. He sounds pretty cool."

When does the ZX6R take over track duty? Jersey??
A friend of mine just picked up a 20131199 Panigale. What a beauty in pearl white! Loves it other than; the ride sucks, seating position is super agressive and, oh yeah, the seat is as comfortable as a park bench & gets hot enough to boil your 'roids off. Sounds like fun. I'll keep my Twin, thanks. Good luck and yes, I know Mike as well and he is fussy. I'm sure the bike is well worth the asking $$.
I can also vouch this bike needs NOTHING. Worth every penny. Mike spent half of what he's asking on suspension last year. This bike is more than capable of more than most can throw at it.
Bike also has full Galfer stainless steel brake lines all around......
