Looking to sell my 2001 Honda Prelude SE, 5 spd manual. It's a Canadian car (SH trim was not available in Canada in 2001, SE was the substitute...no ATTS). I've owned this car for 10 years and have a clean MA DMV title. It has 314k km's (just shy of 200k miles). This used to be my daily commuting car to client sites, but I have a company car, so no longer needed. It gets 28-30 mpg during my travels (mostly highway, but often through Boston rush hour traffic with a good amount of equipment weight). Asking $2200. Not looking for trades, but would be willing to barter for the service of a licensed and insured roofer or siding installer.
The good:
Oil change every 6000kms (majority of service records dating back to 2004)
Relatively recent new timing belt + water pump (Nov/Dec 2012, ~30k miles ago)
Relatively recent new OEM equivalent clutch (Nov/Dec 2012, so also ~ 30k miles ago)
Newer battery (Nov 2013)
The bad:
Expected rust around typical areas for Honda (wheel well)
Standard dings/dents in the car parking in outdoors MA
Rip in the seam of the passenger seat (I put duct tape over rip, and a seat cover over that)
Power door locks doesn't work on the passenger side, keyfob and alarm doesn't work (I just manually lock and unlock the doors)
A hose for coolant is leaking (easy fix but, but I'm took weak to remove an awkwardly placed hose fastner, car is driveable though).
2 codes show up P0401 and P0456; the P0401 fix is this Honda Technical Service Bulletin
The details
-car is completely stock except for an AEM cold air intake installed by the previous owner (back in 2004)
-full leather interior, including leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter (standard OEM for trim)
-sunroof
-heated mirrors (only available on Canadian models)
-heated seats (I believe it was only available on Canadian models)
-standard OEM skirt and spoiler (stand OEM for trim)
-currently on 15" steelies with winter tires that has tread left on its normal compound
-will come with 16" OEM alloy wheels
This is not a show car, but an economical fun-to-drive car for some individual who has time to put a little elbow grease into it. I've had service done on a religiously routine basis, so besides the old age issues I've mentioned, mechanically it's in great shape. I love this car and would keep it if I was more mechanically inclined and have more time to devote working on it and have more space to keep it around. But since I can't, I'd like to see someone get many more years of use out of it. PM me if interested, conveniently located near the 93 & 95/128 interchange.

Updated price before final option of donation to worthy cause.
Does it come with a mandatory "Type R" sticker?!
Must have stuck it on my sport bike instead, since this car is pretty much stock...
Still got this car?
