Men's Movado Museum Watch

I have one of these plain men's movado dress watches in like new condition. Gold case, black leather strap. Probably worn a dozen times. I just don't wear it often enough to keep it. Think I put a new battery in a year or two ago. It has the correct time right now so it's still running just fine.

Looks like they are 600 new. Anyone want for, say, $250?

I usually try to sell here because in general the people are reliable, not total shitbags, and part of a local community.

Later, if no one wants it, then I may reluctantly go that route (or just let it collect dust)... often less worth my time that way.

Example, after no one was interested here I took a guitar to CL to sell. 15 emails with a dude to sell him a $150 acoustic guitar, finally agree to meet, he shows up late, and left his wallet at home. Add another round trip to meet him the next day to finally complete the sale. Then he tried to take another $20 off the price, at which point I told him to fuck himself and pay the agreed upon price. I got the money and got rid of the guitar, but total time wasted, probably 3 hours. Not worth the effort, time, and frustration.

I've looked at it... for nice stuff (rolex) none of the deals are that good from what I've seen. What is too good to be true? I looked at some rolexes... deals for pre-owned that were the same price you could get a new one for if you shop around a bit. Not impressed.

They have a couple of this watch (ladies version) for sale for 350-400. I'd suggest someone just buy mine instead for 250...

You can look on rolexforums.com for both used pieces as well as vendors and recommendations. Otherwise, just shop around for a good shop and ask for best price. I ended up getting mine new and shipped to me. I can PM you details re: shop and contact if you'd like.
