    State law? Long guns can be purchased out of state, handguns must go through a FFL. Per Federal law.

    CT law requires all long gun transfers to receive an authorization code from DPS which includes a nics check. I believe DucatiGuy is a MA FFL? If so, I'm assuming he'll only ship out of state to another FFL. If I show up in person the transaction would have to comply with both MA and CT laws. I've always had out of state purchases shipped directly to a FFL to avoid any costly headaches, put my interpretation of CT law is now even face to face in MA we're still supposed to call into CT DPS for authorization and the 82A1 is banned by name in CT. As a FFL I don't believe DucatiGuy legally can sell it us in lockdown. There are still plenty of CT people buying long guns out of state but I err on side of caution. Noel can correct any understanding I have on the CT side.
